A view of the recently-risen sun from London City airport before our flight.
We arrived in Dar Es Salaam in the late evening, and went straight to the hotel for the night before our flight to Mwanza the next day.
Not convinced the wiring to this electric showerhead would be legal in the UK.
In Mwanza now. Here is some standard Tanzanian scaffolding on a building site.

A brightly-coloured lizard we saw by the side of the road.
Sarah with her houseworker John, overlooking Mwanza and Lake Victoria
Some of the children who wanted their photos taken, near John's house.
A large white building, seen from the same spot.
John's cousin Fatuma with her baby
Sarah with John's three sisters
Sarah with everyone (apart from Fatuma's baby) in front of John's house.
Sunset somewhere over Mwanza.
Lights from across a small bit of the lake at night.

People were queuing to be dunked here.
